Aquatic Plant Identification and Biology

Aquatic Plant Identification and Biology

On Saturday, September 9, 2023 – Join us at our Nasami Farm for a workshop to learn about the major aquatic plant families – from species with showy, insect-pollinated flowers, to those whose tiny flowers are pollinated underwater.

We will cover how to identify numerous native and invasive species and the general biology of aquatic plants. Don’t miss this rare opportunity to delve into our region’s aquatic flora.

Once registered, students will receive an automatic email containing details about the course and their receipt. These details may include pre-class readings, handouts, an access link, or directions to field sites. A reminder email will be sent out 1 week in advance.

9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
