On Tuesday, March 7, 2023 – The Andover Garden Club is sponsoring a free garden-design lecture at Memorial Hall Library in Andover. The public is invited to gather at 6:45PM; the lecture will begin soon thereafter.

The program will feature landscape architect and professional photographer Joanne Pearson, who will discuss garden design and illustrate her lecture with photos of showcase gardens in Europe and the United States.

Her design analysis will include discussion of the hardscape and softscape elements that make landscapes shine. She will offer ideas on developing a concept plan for home yards and suggest ways to modify and incorporate grand themes seen in showcase gardens into a scale suitable for homeowner’s yard, budget, and schedule.
