“Beat two eggs and mix well with a gallon of water. Spray or pour over the hostas. I think the eggs spoil and smell; and the deer will not touch. I have used it to good results. It works!”” ….Mary (061298)
Editorial Note: On a visit to Tower Hill Botanic Garden in Boylston, MA, we saw bars of Irish Spring soap hanging (in netting) on some of the shrubs and were told that the smell of the soap would help in keeping deer away.
