Art in Bloom begins with a public preview on Friday, April 26 from 3-10 p.m. and continues through Monday, April 29. A special Art in Bloom Community Day with family activities takes place on Sunday, April 28.

Throughout Art in Bloom, guests can enjoy viewing custom-made floral arrangements created by local garden clubs inspired by and paired with masterpieces of art from the MFA’s collection.

This year’s featured speaker is Remco Van Vliet, the celebrated Dutch florist and creative director of Van Vliet & Trap Event Design NYC. Van Vliet will be hosting two master classes and one lecture demonstration in floral arranging during Art in Bloom.

Daily events include tours of arrangements throughout the galleries, flower-arranging demonstrations, light bites in the Art in Bloom Café, and outdoor walking tours.

Returning this year is the MFA Art in Bloom Market featuring a curated assortment of one-of-a-kind, handmade items from selected vendors. The MFA Associates’ Garden Cart will offer unique gifts. Visitors can also purchase fresh flowers by visiting the Fivefork Farms Flower Cart, which will be located outside the Huntington Avenue entrance.

Art in Bloom is included with Museum admission—$25 for adults and $23 for seniors and students age 18 and older. Admission is free for children 17 and under. Art in Bloom is presented by the MFA Associates, a group of dedicated volunteers who lead gallery tours and create the Museum’s flower arrangements throughout the year. In addition to experiencing the Art in Bloom arrangements on view throughout the galleries, MFA visitors can also explore the Museum’s current exhibitions.

The Museum of Fine Arts is located at 465 Huntington Ave., Boston. For more information, call 617-267-9300 or visit Special Events at www.mfa.org.
