In The Garden Center
Asters provide daisy-like flowers for a delightful autumn color display of white, purple, lavender, pink or red from August through October. The plants are perennial and form broad bushy clumps in full sun. Best in fertile, well-drained soil, they can be placed in containers or garden borders where they can be grown for years. Spacing depends upon size with miniature varieties spaced four to six inches apart, and large varieties one to two feet apart. Remove faded flowers and divide every two to three years
